Your journey, your pace: My counselling approach
At Jo Urch Counselling, I believe in empowering you to explore, understand, and grow. Discover a supportive, non-judgmental space where your unique path to well-being is prioritised.

A humanistic heart: Your potential, nurtured
My core therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in humanistic theory. I believe that every person has the capacity to take responsibility for themselves, to change and to grow towards their own potential. I aim to offer a healthy, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, emotions, and relationships at your own pace.
Alongside this, I integrate a range of other approaches, including CBT and pshycodynamic theory, tailoring my work to meet your individual needs, whether you're seeking in-person support in Saltford or remote sessions from anywhere in the UK, for clients aged 13 and over.

A personal touch: Counselling tailored for you
I pride myself on a truly person-centred approach. No matter the diagnosis we are working on, I see it as separate from you, my client, ensuring you feel seen and heard as an individual. Drawing from my experience, I strive to create a warm, conversational, and relaxing environment, making your counselling journey feel as comfortable and natural as possible.

Progress you can feel: Building skills for lasting change
Attending regularly allows you to build on techniques and skills that can be practiced as the weeks go on, highlighting your progress. Most clients also see a significant elevation in mood and a greater sense of clarity. My approach is designed to help you not just cope, but to thrive, equipping you with tools for long-term well-being and personal growth.
